Blanchiment des dents

Which Whitening System Do We Use?

Chapel Hill Dental is equipped with one of the best whitening systems on the market: Philips Zoom Whitespeed. This revolutionary system has been shown to whiten teeth up to 8 shades in a single visit.

Teeth whitening is an easy way of improving how you look and feel. If you have a big event coming up -- maybe it's a wedding, a graduation, a photoshoot, etc. -- come see us first and we'll get you smiling with confidence.

How Does It Compare To Other Whitening Options?

Professional teeth whitening at Chapel Hill Dental provides dramatic results in the least amount of time, usually in just one session. Over-the-counter whitening options like whitening strips, toothpastes, and mouthwashes contain lower concentrations of whitening agent and, if used incorrectly, can damage your enamel and irritate your gums. These solutions also take longer than professional treatments to achieve results, and the results can vary significantly.

What's Included In The Service?

We offer two options for professional teeth whitening:

(1) in-office whitening with custom fitted take-home trays; or

(2) custom fitted take-home trays only

If you're looking for the best results possible, you will want to start with our in-office treatment where we will use the Zoom blue light which will help bring your teeth down to your preferred shade of white.

The in-office process is divided into three consecutive 15-minute sessions with short breaks in between, which helps alleviate any sensitivity you might experience from the light. All in all the in-office portion takes approximately 2 hours to complete, and you'll notice results as soon as you sit up in the chair.

Take-home trays are available either as part of the in-office treatment, or separately. These trays allow you to improve the whiteness of your teeth in the comfort of your own home.

The main difference between the in-office treatment and the take-home trays is that take-home trays will take longer to bring your teeth up to the shade you desire. In our experience the take-home trays are best suited for patients who have already undergone the in-office treatment but feel the need to boost their whiteness.
